No signing service can guarantee that Apple will never revoke a certificate or terminate a developer account. Apple controls developer-account approval, certificate validity, UDID restrictions, and enforcement decisions. AppTesters cannot override those systems.
What AppTesters can do
AppTesters can reduce operational risk by managing developer-account capacity carefully, protecting certificate access, limiting misuse, and offering controlled signing methods. Since January 2026, AppTesters has delivered 1,500+ certificates through its current setup with no revocations reported so far.
That record describes current performance; it is not a promise that a future revocation cannot happen.
What customers can do
- Keep certificate files and passwords private.
- Do not upload certificate files to unknown websites or share them publicly.
- Use the official AppTesters signer or a trusted local signing tool.
- Follow the signing limits and security guidance shown in your account.
- Keep your device date, iOS version, and signing app reasonably current.
- Test problems with a known-good IPA before concluding that the certificate is revoked.
Custom DNS or filtering settings can change how a device reaches Apple services, but they can also interfere with installation, verification, updates, notifications, or other Apple features. They are not a guarantee against revocation and cannot restore a certificate Apple has already invalidated.
Premium and Ultimate revoke protection addresses eligible replacement handling; it does not mean that Apple is technically unable to revoke a certificate. Extraordinary ecosystem-wide events may need separate handling from a normal isolated revocation.
