Certificate processing time varies by device and by Apple's current account and UDID eligibility systems. The best place to check progress is the AppTesters order page, which shows the latest status available for your order.
Why timing can vary
AppTesters manages order verification, fulfillment, and customer support. Apple controls developer-account approval, account limits, UDID registration restrictions, certificate validity, and some eligibility periods. AppTesters cannot manually bypass an Apple restriction or guarantee an exact completion date when one applies.
A device with no relevant eligibility restriction may move through processing sooner than a device previously connected to a terminated developer membership. Developer-account capacity and Apple's approval speed can also affect timing.
What do the order statuses mean?
- Processing: AppTesters is validating or preparing the order.
- Ineligible: Apple currently restricts registration of the submitted UDID. Follow the date or information shown on the order page.
- Active: The certificate has been issued for the registered UDID.
An Active status confirms issuance, but it does not guarantee that every IPA will run. If one app fails while others work, troubleshoot the IPA rather than assuming the certificate is revoked.
When should I contact support?
Contact support if the order has remained unchanged beyond the estimate displayed on your order page, if the UDID or email is incorrect, or if the status and downloaded certificate do not match. Include the order email, UDID, current status, and a screenshot of any error.
Purchases are generally non-refundable once processing has started because the submitted UDID enters developer-account processing and generally cannot simply be removed or reversed.
