Check the device UDID carefully before submitting an AppTesters order. The certificate and provisioning process are tied to that specific device identifier.
Can an incorrect UDID be changed?
Contact support immediately if you notice an error before processing starts. If the UDID has already entered developer-account processing, it generally cannot simply be removed, reversed, or exchanged for a different device UDID.
A new iPhone or iPad also has a different UDID. A certificate being prepared for one device should not be represented as automatically usable on another device.
This is different from a plan device change after an eligible certificate has been issued. Ultimate includes up to two device changes in total within five years at no additional charge, Premium device changes cost $10, and Essential does not include a device-change option.
Why are orders generally non-refundable after processing starts?
Once processing begins, AppTesters commits the submitted UDID to developer-account and certificate work. Some of those actions depend on Apple systems and cannot simply be undone. For that reason, purchases are generally non-refundable after processing has started.
Customers accept the applicable Terms, Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy during checkout. Those policies govern the individual order.
What should I do if I made a mistake?
Contact AppTesters support as soon as possible and include:
- The order email and order number
- The submitted UDID
- The correct UDID, if different
- Whether the order is still unprocessed or already shows a processing status
- A short explanation of what happened
Support can review the current state and explain the options available for that order. Review does not guarantee that a processed UDID can be changed or refunded.
If Apple replaced your device under warranty, include documentation for the old and new device when contacting support. The applicable Ultimate, Premium, or Essential device-change policy will still apply.
