If your certificate was affected by the extraordinary 2025 Apple developer-account event, you may be eligible to purchase a discounted replacement during the current recovery cycle.
Current discounted replacement amounts
- Essential: $12 instead of the normal $15 plan price
- Premium: $12.50 instead of the normal $25 plan price
- Ultimate: $25 instead of the normal $50 plan price
The Premium and Ultimate replacement amounts are 50% below their normal plan prices. The discounted amount is not a requirement to purchase your Lifetime plan again. It is a temporary contribution toward new developer-account capacity and the work required to issue a replacement after the unusually large 2025 event.
How to request help
First, confirm that the problem affects all apps signed with the certificate. If only one IPA fails, the certificate may still be active and the problem may be with that app.
Then open your AppTesters order page and review the status and replacement options displayed for the affected device. If the expected option is missing, contact AppTesters support and include:
- The email address used for the order
- The affected device UDID
- The current order status
- The exact error message or a screenshot
- Whether every signed app fails or only one app
Do not post your certificate files, .p12 password, Apple ID password, or verification codes in a public channel.
There is currently no free replacement queue, waiting list, or “wait until a certificate becomes available” option for this exceptional replacement cycle.
